Last updated: June 6, 2026. This document describes how QuartzPioneer collects, uses, and protects personal information in clear, plain language.
QuartzPioneer collects minimal information. Specifically:

To be explicit: QuartzPioneer does not track your game outcomes, your credit balance, your session duration, or any measure of your in-platform behaviour. There is no player profile. There is no account. There is no record that you specifically visited this site beyond what appears in transient server logs.
We do not accept payments, and therefore do not store, process, or transmit any financial data. We do not collect biometric data. We do not use fingerprinting technologies beyond what is inherent in standard browser HTTP requests.
We currently use the following third-party services:
We do not use Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, TikTok Pixel, or any behavioural advertising tag. Our Google Consent Mode implementation defaults all storage types to denied until explicit user consent is given, and advertising analytics remain denied permanently by this platform.
We use two first-party cookies and their localStorage mirrors. See our Cookie Policy for the complete inventory. No third-party tracking cookies are set by QuartzPioneer. Third-party CDN providers may set their own cookies subject to their policies; we do not control those cookies and they are not used for analytics or advertising by us.
The age-gate flag is used solely to suppress the age confirmation screen on return visits within 180 days. The cookie preference flag is used to maintain your consent state across sessions and, if you consented, to enable analytics data collection (currently not implemented — we do not yet run analytics). Server logs are used by our hosting provider for operational purposes (security, abuse prevention, capacity planning); we do not query them for marketing purposes.
Any email you send to [email protected] is used solely to respond to your message. We do not add your email to any marketing list, and we do not share email communications with third parties unless legally required to do so.
Under Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and Manitoba's Personal Health Information Act (PHIA) where applicable, you have the right to: access any personal information we hold about you; correct inaccurate personal information; withdraw consent for processing (subject to legal or contractual restrictions); request deletion of personal information no longer required for the purpose for which it was collected; and lodge a complaint with the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.
Because we collect minimal personal information, most of these rights have limited practical application on this platform. Your age-gate and consent cookies are stored locally on your device and can be deleted at any time by clearing your browser cookies and localStorage. We have no server-side record of individual users to access, correct, or delete.
We implement standard technical safeguards appropriate to the low-sensitivity nature of the data we process. Our hosting environment uses TLS encryption for all connections. We do not store plaintext credentials, financial data, or sensitive personal information. Our frontend code does not transmit personal data to our servers beyond what appears in standard HTTP requests.
Our CDN providers (Google, jsDelivr/Cloudflare) operate internationally and may transfer data across jurisdictions. We have no control over this processing. By using this site you acknowledge that CDN providers' standard terms govern their data practices. Our own servers are located in Canada.
We may update this Privacy Statement from time to time. Material changes will be accompanied by a change to the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of QuartzPioneer after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated statement. For changes affecting your consent rights, we will re-present the cookie banner.
QuartzPioneer maintains a brief change log for this document. Version 1.0 — original publication. Version 1.1 — added Manitoba PHIA reference. Version 1.2 — explicit no-analytics note added for Google Consent Mode implementation.
